Concentrates at Bacco Farms

Concentrates are made when excess plant material and other impurities are removed from the cannabis plant, leaving only the most desired plant compounds, usually cannabinoids and terpenes.  Since the other organic materials are removed, concentrates have a much higher proportion of cannabis terpenes and cannabinoids than cannabis flower. There is a wide variety of cannabis concentrates and a wide variety of ways to consume concentrates.  A common way to consume concentrates is sprinkling kief on flower.  More advanced ways to consume concentrates involve portable or desktop vaporizer and vape the concentrate, or vaporizing concentrates using a dab rig.  Dab rigs come in many varieties, but they all involve heating a glass, ceramic, or titanium "nail" then applying the concentrate directly to the hot surface, instantly turning it into vapor for consumption. Pros for concentrates: since concentrates are potent, less is needed to feel the effects.  Concentrates have a rapid onset, so the effects are felt very quickly. Cons for concentrates: since concentrates are potent, they produce very strong effects.  A little goes a long way (or "a little dab will do ya"), so concentrates can be easy to over-consume and can be a challenging product for a novice consumer.  In order to properly consume most concentrates, you will need a proper set up, such as a dab rig or portable vaporizer which requires some up-front cost.
